I’ve seen 100 films in a theatre so far this year, which is a new personal high (I saw 87 films in 2001). Number 100 was Bend it Like Beckham, which was the tenth British film I saw this year. Other nationalities: 33 American films, 25 French films, 11 Spanish films, 5 Dutch films, 4 Argentinian films and the rest from around the world like Japan, Korea, Peru, Chili, and China. With still one month to go, I will probably end up with around 110 films. In my personal top 10 so far, Lucia y el Sexo still leads, which is ironic since that was the first film I saw this year, on January 1, in Barcelona…
