Here in Paris, political observers are anticipating what is known in French as a “remaniement”, a reshuffle to refresh the governing team.
But earlier this week, Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault brushed off suggestions that he might soon be replaced, telling journalists he was not “used up and tired”.
