It is 2001, and the battle between good and evil has reached a critical point. Heaven is having financial problems and Hell is risking a management buy-out. Sin noticias de dios is another proof of the originality of Spanish cinema. Penelope Cruz Cruise, which I hardly digest, is playing excellent as a man, who got punished in Hell by coming back as a woman, and with a job as a waitress. Sin noticias is a very funny movie, with original twists. Like the fact that in Hell they speak English, but in heaven (which looks remarkably like Paris) they speak French.
The movie has been released in Spain in November 2001, and in Mexico in June 2002; release dates for other countries are not known yet.
