Men in Black 2 (USA 2002, 88′) Dir.: Barry Sonnenfeld. With Tommy Lee Jones, Will Smith, Lara Flynn Boyle.
In this summer of Blockbusters, Sequels and Prequels, Spiderman was without a doubt the best. The new Men in Black is a good second. Although not quite as funny as the first one, MIIB contains quite a few funky scenes. But unfortunately actors Smith and Jones are not half as good as the many inventive aliens. The fact that it is the USA who protects the earth of being taken over by more intelligent life forms than its own citizens, is not really relaxing in the current political situation. Men in Black 2 is amusing, but no more than that.
